CSKA Moscow target Marko Grujic
CSKA Moscow are the latest club to express a serious interest in Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic, according to David Lynch of the Evening Standard.
Grujic was expected to return to Neil Warnock’s Cardiff on a temporary basis this season given his limited prospects of regular first-team football at Anfield.
However, he ultimately turned down the Bluebirds, expressing a desire to fight for his place in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It is understood that Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough have also failed in an approach for the Serbian’s services.
Now, CSKA Moscow, a Champions League outfit, are at the head of the queue for Grujic, Lynch reports.

Liverpool would like to tie the 22-year-old down to a new contract before they send him out on loan.
Grujic may well be tempted by the possibility of first-team football in Europe’s premier club competition.
Reports in Russia suggest talks between the two clubs are already at an advanced stage.
Marko Grujic could go on loan to CSKA Moscow for the season.
