Red Star not allowed travelling supporters for Anfield visit
UEFA have ruled that Red Star Belgrade fans will be barred from attending their Champions League visit to Anfield in October.
The ruling, which also prohibits supporters of the Serbian club from attending their trip to PSG, comes following a pitch invasion which met the full-time whistle as they secured qualification against Red Bull Salzburg last month.
Red Star will be able to appeal the ruling from the Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body, but as it stands their trip to last season’s finalists on October 24 looks all the more daunting.
The reigning SuperLiga Champions are widely expected to prop up a group which also features Serie A high-flyers Napoli.

Liverpool kick off their European campaign at home to PSG on September 18 before heading to Napoli on October 3.
Back-to-back games against Red Star follow, the second of which will likely be played in a notoriously raucous atmosphere in Belgrade.
Jurgen Klopp’s men then take on PSG at the Parc des Princes at the end of November before rounding-off their group stage campaign away at Napoli on December 11.
