Salah leads the way as Liverpool Fifa ratings are revealed

Mohamed Salah has been confirmed as one of the top 30 highest-rated players on the upcoming FIFA 19 game, with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane both well inside the top 100.

Salah has been awarded a rating of 88 off the back of his phenomenal debut season at Anfield, in which he scored a record-breaking 32 Premier League goals.

That puts him alongside the likes of former Red Philippe Coutinho, Bayern Munich’s James Rodriguez, Spurs star Christian Eriksen and Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale.

He does, however, rank lower than players such as Isco, David Silva and Paulo Dybala.

“The Egyptian winger had a sensational, record-breaking debut season with the Merseyside club, and it’s a safe bet that he’ll continue to impress in year two,” the explanation reads.

“As the song his fans sing for him goes, Salah is often seen “running down the wing” with his 92 Pace and 89 Dribbling ratings, leaving a trail of disappointed defenders along the way.

“He plays well with teammates, but Salah’s goal tally last season is proof that he is just as dangerous when going for goal utilizing his 84 Shooting rating.”

Liverpool’s front three may well be as potent virtually as it is in reality, with Mane and Firmino both rated 86.

Mane, whose standout stat is his 94 pace (two higher, notably, than that of Mohamed Salah) comes in at 60th in the overall rankings, five places ahead of Firmino, who is hailed as ‘well-rounded and versatile’.

The ratings for the rest of the squad are unofficial for the moment, but it appears that Alisson, Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho are close behind Mane and Firmino.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to be handed an upgrade to 78 after his excellent breakthrough season, while Naby Keita’s mixed final year at RB Leipzig earns him a rating of 83.
