Anfield Hit With Power Outage Hours Before Champions League tie

With Liverpool’s game against Red Star Belgrade already underway, the tie was put in doubt earlier, after a power outage hit Anfield’s Main Stand prior to kick off.
Liverpool’s official Twitter account tweeted to explain the situation:
#LFC can confirm the Main Stand has experienced a power supply fault which has affected the delivery of catering and other facilities in the Main Stand at tonight's #UCL tie.
The club apologises for the inconvenience to those supporters who are affected.https://t.co/JWec8iFoyI

The full statement read: ‘Liverpool Football Club can confirm the Main Stand has experienced a power supply fault which has affected the delivery of catering and other facilities in the Main Stand at this evening’s Champions League tie with Red Star Belgrade.
The club apologises for the inconvenience to those supporters who are affected. The club is working to resolve the issue, which affects the Main Stand only.
The Reds’ fixture with Red Star is going ahead as planned, with essential matchday operations functioning as normal.’
