Andy Robertson reveals Jurgen Klopp’s response after he told him he was the new Scotland captain

Andy Robertson has revealed the text message he received from Jurgen Klopp when he became the new captain of Scotland.
Robertson was handed the Scotland armband by Alex McLeish earlier this year, and it led to a humorous exchange between Klopp and the left-back.
Speaking to Si Ferry’s Open Goal, Robertson explained: “I text him saying ‘just so you know I’m getting he captaincy’.
“It was just out of respect because I didn’t want him finding out off of someone else.
“I said ‘thanks very much for all you’ve done, I’m going to be Scotland captain, I hope it can be a success’ all that sort of stuff.
