Confirmed Liverpool team to face Watford at Vicarage Road

Xherdan Shaqiri and Mohamed Salah

Liverpool return to Premier League action today with a tough test against Watford away from home but with a strong team being fielded by Jurgen Klopp, the Reds should be confident of securing three points.

Last time out, the Reds won at Anfield against Fulham and while there was debate surrounding whether or not Alexansandar Mitrovic was offside before Mohamed Salah found the back of the net for Liverpool seconds later, there’s no denying the home side deserved the win.

With the festive fixture list set to get underway, Klopp and his coaching staff will be mindful of how crucial it is that the Reds emerge into the New Year with their title challenge intact. Today’s away test against Watford is the first step.
