Kylian Mbappe and Neymar set for injury return ahead of Liverpool clash
Despite fears that they would miss the massive Champions League showdown on Wednesday, it appears as though Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will be fit to face Liverpool.
If the Reds beat PSG when they travel to Paris midweek, they will all but book their place in the next round of the Champions League and if they don’t, they will need a huge win over Napoli in the final game of the group to progress.
A lot is riding on whether or not Liverpool can overcome PSG and while they might have won in dramatic fashion at Anfield thanks to a sublime Roberto Firmino goal in the 90th minute, there are no guarantees over any repeats in Paris.
Thomas Tuchel has provided a boost for supporters of the Ligue 1 giants as he told his press conference that there is a chance that both Neymar and Mbappe could be fit to face Liverpool on Wednesday evening.

Mbapppe suffered a shoulder injury during France’s win over Uruguay while Neymar picked up an abductor muscle injury as Brazil won against Cameroon this week.
While neither will feature during PSG’s game against Toulouse, Tuchel believes that there is a chance that both could be fit to face Liverpool when the Reds make the trip to Paris.
“We will not take chances for tomorrow,” Tuchel said on Friday.
“But we have the possibility that they will play against Liverpool on Wednesday. I think it’s possible.”
