Liverpool target Frenkie De Jong valued at £75million

Potential suitors of Ajax star Frenkie De Jong have been advised that they would have to part with £75million to land him, according to reports today.
Multiple Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham.
De Jong managed seven assists in 22 league appearances last season for Ajax, and has already racked up 19 appearances in all competitions this campaign for the Amsterdam-based club.

He also made his senior debut for the Dutch national side earlier this month, and continues to impress in the Eredivisie from midfield.
Other outlets have also reported that De Jong is a target for clubs outside of England, including Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Liverpool may be in the market for a creative midfielder with the long-term Anfield future of Adam Lallana in doubt and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain still recovering from injury.
While the £75million fee suggested by his current club may prove to be a stumbling block, Liverpool have shown in recent seasons that they can match other top clubs financially, and are always willing to pay big money for a player who Jurgen Klopp has set his mind on.
