CONFIRMED: Liverpool starting XI and subs to face Everton

Liverpool host Everton at Anfield in the 232nd Merseyside Derby and Jurgen Klopp has predictably gone for a very strong team, with Xherdan Shaqiri starting as Jordan Henderson misses out through suspension.
After a disappointing loss at the Parc des Prince midweek, Klopp will be looking for a response from his players.
While the game will serve as a way to get back to winning ways after the Reds’ fourth defeat of the season, it’s also a must win in the sense that Manchester City will have opened up a bigger lead on the Reds if anything but a win is secured.
And, of course, bragging rights within the city of Liverpool are at stake.

Up front, Salah, Mane and Firmino unsurprisingly start but we’ll likely see Xherdan Shaqiri interchange with that trio to cause mayhem for the away side.
Alongside the Swiss maestro, Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum are tasked with protecting the back five of Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson Becker.
Starting XI: Alisson, Trent, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Mane, Salah, Firmino.
Subs: Mignolet, Matip, Moreno, Keïta, Milner, Studge, Origi.
