Jurgen Klopp says Naby Keita injury isn’t too serious

Jurgen Klopp does not believe that the injury that forced Naby Keita off the pitch against Wolves on Friday is serious amid fears he might miss a game or two.

The Guinean didn’t exactly set the world alight at Molineux but seeing as he was once again being played in an unfamiliar wide left role, fans will find it easy to forgive and forget his unspectacular performance.

When he was subbed off after needing treatment on the pitch, Klopp told reporters after the game that he doesn’t think the injury he suffered is serious.

Klopp said: “Did you see it back the first two situations?

“Was it a penalty or not, because he had a proper cut on the foot and everyone said ‘diver!’, but you don’t get a cut from a dive I would say,” the boss stated, during his press conference.

“Then he had another one on his ribs, so that’s obviously [why] it didn’t work out. But it should be good. Two things which are a bit painful but I don’t think will be a problem for him.”
