Jurgen Klopp has hailed goalkeeper Alisson Becker as “unbelievably important” to his Liverpool side this season.
The Reds have conceded just eight goals in the Premier League this campaign with Alisson between the sticks, with the Brazilian stopped producing another bit of magic against Arsenal on Saturday to initiate a counter-attack that resulted in the fourth goal of the game.
His manager, understandably, has been delighted with the impact his new signing has made this season.

“Alisson is unbelievably important,” said Klopp, according to LiverpoolFC.com.
“They all have their specific importance, for sure, but Ali is not only the goalkeeper. He is an outfield player as well and that helps of course.”
Speaking about Man City’s keepers, Klopp continued: “Now they have two of the world’s best, if not the world’s best. It is incredible.
“Coming from Germany, I know how important Manuel Neuer was with his football playing on top of his goalkeeping skills.
“You can’t imagine that two can come along with the same skills and maybe even a bit better. What I would say is these two boys do not have to hide.”
