Liverpool weighing up Championship loan offers for Woodburn
Liverpool are weighing up a number of loan offers for attacker Ben Woodburn, who returned to the club in November, according to the Echo.
Woodburn had been on a season-long loan at Sheffield United when he suffered an ankle injury in training and returned to his parent club; he underwent treatment at Melwood and is on the brink of returning to training again.
The 19-year-old had a difficult time in Chris Wilder’s team, struggling to retain a spot in the squad, and his loan was terminated immediately following his injury.

A host of Championship clubs are now circling as they look to bring Woodburn in on a loan deal for the remainder of the season. Among the sides interested are Blackburn Rovers, Brentford and Hull City.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly open to allowing Woodburn to leave on loan again but will take his time before making a final decision.
The priority for Klopp and Liverpool is ensuring Woodburn gets sufficient game time wherever he goes, if he’s allowed to leave at all. However, were he to remain at Melwood he would be some way down the pecking order, and would no doubt find chances extremely limited.
