Key Bayern Munich forward trains at Anfield ahead of Liverpool encounter

Bayern Munich could have Kinglsey Coman back fit to face Liverpool tonight after the Frenchman trained at Anfield last night ahead of this evening’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg encounter.

Coman sustained a hamstring injury late on against Augsburg after scoring the winner to win the game for Bayern.

Niko Kovac and his medical staff will assess his fitness before kickoff tonight but after training last night, it looks like the 22-year-old will be able to start at Anfield this evening.

A Twitter account dedicated to Bayern Munich has shared pictures of Kingsley Coman training at Anfield last night.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of Dejan Lovren and will only make a decision on his ability to take part right before kickoff.

Georginio Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri are fit enough to be involved after both trained this week.
