Mohamed Salah named PFA Player of the Month for January
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been named PFA Player of the Month for the month of January.
The Egyptian helped the Reds through a tricky month which started with a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad.
Salah responded by scoring three goals in two games against tough opposition in Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Salah is the Premier League’s leading goalscorer this season with 16. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one behind on 15 and after scoring a hattrick for Manchester City last night, Sergio Aguero has 14.
Liverpool face West Ham in the Premier League this evening and will be hoping Salah can add to his already impressive tally to help maintain their title bid.
Dropping points would be disastrous as City are just two points behind Jurgen Klopp’s side with Everton facing the champions on Wednesday.
