Injury blow confirmed for Bayern Munich ahead of Liverpool clash

Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac has confirmed that Arjen Robben will miss the Champions League meeting with Liverpool next week, according to the Echo.
The 35-year-old sustained a calf injury in training earlier this week and has been ruled out of the crucial match at the Allianz Arena.
However, Bayern have been boosted with the news that Kinsley Coman could be fit for the game after making a good recovery from a thigh injury.

“Arjen Robben injured his calf and won’t make the squad,” Kovac told the press ahead of Bayern’s match against Wolfsburg this weekend.
“Coman is on his way back and we’re hopeful for the Liverpool game. Arjen definitely won’t be ready for that game. We expect [Corentin] Tolisso back at the end of this month.”
