Alisson Becker to take No.1 shirt next season
Alisson Becker will swap his No.13 shirt for the No.1 jersey when he steps out for Liverpool in the 2019-20 season, according to LiverpoolFC.com.
The new Reds’ kit was unveiled today ahead of next season’s campaign, with Alisson featuring in promotional photos alongside Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
The No.1 shirt was worn by Loris Karius until the goalkeeper went out on loan to Besiktas at the start of the season, and Alisson will officially take the iconic number when the Reds begin their new campaign.

The 2019-20 goalkeeper kit is black with gold detail and matches the outfield players’ jersey design, all of which pays homage to a great era in Liverpool FC history.
“I’m incredibly impressed by the style of this season’s goalkeeper jersey,” Alisson said of the new kit. “It will really stand out on the pitch and will look great alongside the home kit.”
