Carragher reveals he’s changed his mind on Premier League trophy destination

Jamie Carragher has revealed that he’s changed his mind on who he believes will win the Premier League this season.

Liverpool leapfrogged Manchester City once again after their win over Chelsea on Sunday, though the champions have a game in hand.

Carragher had once been confident City would win the league, but now he’s not so sure.

“I think after this international break City were big favourites for me,” he said. “They were in the box seat.

“I think Liverpool coming through Spurs, Southampton, Chelsea, even though City have a one-point lead and better goal difference, I think the league’s 50-50 now.

“I’ve always thought City were in front. Liverpool had to get over these three games and then the four left.

“Right now, I couldn’t split them.”
