Liverpool considering summer move for Championship centre-back

Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Norwich City player Ciaren Jones ahead of a potential summer move, according to Football Insider.

The 19-year-old has caught the eye of several clubs with his impressive performances for the Championship leaders, who look set to return to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Jones, who plays at centre-back, would represent excellent value for money – he could be available for as little as £200,000.

He’s not the only Norwich youngster enjoying success this season, either. Fellow academy graduates Max Aarons and Jamal Lewis have also performed well in the first team, and Norwich will hope to hold on to all three.

However, should Liverpool firm up a move for the young player, the Canaries would likely struggle to hold on to him.
