Liverpool linked with move for Benfica forward
Liverpool have turned to super agent Jorge Mendes to help secure the signature of Benfica’s Joao Felix, according to reports.
A host of clubs have been linked with a move for the Portugal Under-21 international this season, with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Liverpool all amongst the suitors.
Felix signed a new contract last November with a £106million release clause, but that doesn’t appear to have dissuaded interested parties.

The 19-year-old forward has 15 goals and seven assists in 36 appearances for Benfica this season and Liverpool have reportedly taken note, sending scouts to monitor his progress.
A source claims that Liverpool “have made their interest in Felix clear to super-agent Mendes” but are as yet unwilling to meet his astronomical release clause.
It remains to be seen whether or not Jurgen Klopp will sanction a summer move for the attacker.
