Liverpool ready to meet release clause for Julian Brandt
Liverpool are reportedly willing to meet the release clause of Bayern Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt this summer. according to Bild.
Brandt has a £21.5million release clause at the German club, which would be a bargain for any club hoping to secure his signature.
The Reds will, however, face stiff competition from Juventus and Real Madrid to sign the 22-year-old.

Brandt’s release clause activates if Leverkusen don’t qualify for the Champions League, which they are unlikely to do at this stage from a position seven points off fourth spot in the Bundesliga.
Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Brandt, especially since Jurgen Klopp took the reins at Anfield.
Brandt would add significant quality to Liverpool’s attack should he sign, though the Reds must act decisively in the transfer window if they hope to secure him.
