Julian Brandt linked with summer move to Liverpool

Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt is likely to make a move to either Liverpool or Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to the Mirror.

Brandt has long been linked with a move to Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp a keen admirer of the 23-year-old.

The attacking midfielder, who can also play as a winger, claimed earlier in the season that he’s happy at Leverkusen.

His stance could change, however, if the Bundesliga side don’t qualify for the Champions League.

Leverkusen are fifth in the table, level on points with Borussia Mönchengladbach, who occupy the last Champions League spot in fourth position.

If his side don’t secure top-level European football for next season, Brandt is likely to push for a move away, with Liverpool an increasingly-viable option.
