£45million-rated replacement for Moreno responds to Liverpool rumours
Real Betis defender Junior Firpo refused to rule out a move away from the club this summer, with both Liverpool and Real Madrid interested in signing him, according to the Echo.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a switch to Anfield this summer, with the Reds reportedly undeterred by the full-back’s £45million release clause.
Liverpool are in the hunt for defensive reinforcements now that Alberto Moreno is set to leave the club at the end of the month, but Firpo kept his cards close to his chest when asked about a potential transfer move recently.

“Did Madrid call me? If you want to know, you can ask them,” he told El Larguero.
“I’m here with the national team and that’s all I want to think about.”
He added: “I have said that Real Madrid was more attractive to me because my father is from Madrid.
“This has nothing to do with where I would rather play.
“Honestly, the team that is most interesting to me right now is Real Betis, where I have been since I was young.”
