Champions League star trains with Rangers to retain match fitness
Virgil van Dijk has wasted no time getting back to training, despite wining the Champions League with Liverpool less than a month ago.
The centre-back also helped the Netherlands reach the Nations League final earlier this month, where they were beaten by Portugal.
Liverpool’s No.4 was instrumental in the club’s impressive Premier League title push, shoring up a formerly unpredictable defence ahead of Golden Glove-winner Alisson Becker.

But with another gruelling season ahead for Jurgen Klopp’s side, van Dijk has opted to start training early in a bid to retain match fitness.
The defender was spotted at Rangers’ pre-season training camp in Portugal, where Aston Villa assistant manager John Terry has also been working out.
