Jurgen Klopp makes major striker decision ahead of next season
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will reportedly place his faith in young striker Rhian Brewster rather than pursue a deal for a superstar forward this summer, according to the Mirror.
The Reds have been linked with a host of forwards in recent weeks after it was confirmed that Daniel Sturridge was leaving Anfield at the end of the season.
Timo Werner and Nicolas Pepe were heavily linked with switches to Merseyside in the wake of Liverpool’s Champions League final victory, with several other big names also tossed around.

However, it appears Klopp will instead opt to make 19-year-old Brewster an important member of his senior squad ahead of the coming season.
Liverpool regard the young striker as a major talent and would rather hand him the chance to prove himself rather than pass him by for another season.
Divock Origi is also in talks to sign a new contract after his Champions League heroics, with both he and Brewster acting as support for first-choice forward Roberto Firmino.
Brewster won the Golden Boot during England Under-17’s World Cup campaign two years ago and made the bench for both legs of the Champions League semi-final tie with Barcelona last month.
