Liverpool linked with move for £71million Serie A star

Liverpool have been linked once again with Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa by Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb (via Madaboutepl.com).

Chiesa is one of the top prospects in Serie A after another superb season personally in a Fiorentina side that underperformed, finishing 16th in the league.

Juventus and Inter Milan have been touted as possible destinations for the 21-year-old, but the Reds have been linked with a summer move for him again this week.

Fiorentina have done their best to nip speculation in the bud by stating recently that the attacking midfielder isn’t going anywhere on their club website.

And yet Liverpool are still being linked with the player, who has bagged 22 goals in 113 appearances for the Italian side and is currently valued at £71million.

It remains to be seen whether or not there’s any substance to this ongoing speculation.
