Liverpool join race for 21-goal Ajax attacker

Liverpool have been linked with an approach for Ajax attacker Hakim Ziyech, who is also being tracked by Arsenal.
The Moroccan international enjoyed a fine campaign last season with the Dutch side, bagging 21 goals and notching 24 assists.
His attacking prowess was also key to Ajax reaching the Champions League semi-finals, in which he scored against Tottenham in a game the Dutch club ultimately lost.

However, De Telegraaf (via The Mirror)) claim a trio of Premier League sides are now interested in making a £30million move for the 26-year-old.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all monitoring Ziyech, who is currently playing for his national side in the African Cup of Nations.
Ajax manager Marc Overmars admitted that Ziyech is likely to leave this summer, stating: “He is much more in the spotlight because of his achievements in the Champions League.
“Very large clubs are hanging around him.
“By the way, we promised Hakim a nice transfer on his arrival.”
Ziyech is keen to join Arsenal this summer but would struggle to turn down Liverpool, who can offer Champions League football under Jurgen Klopp.
