Reds reportedly bid £40million for Bruno Fernandes

Liverpool have reportedly made a £40million offer for Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to a report from Correio da Manha.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Portuguese side this summer, with Manchester United widely tipped to sign him.
However, reports from Portugal are suggesting that Liverpool will look to steal a march on their rivals by bidding around £40million for the talented midfield maestro.

Fernandes scored 20 goals and helped create 13 for teammates in just 33 league games for Sporting last season.
He recently hinted at a move away from the club, stating: “I never said that I wanted to leave, I am happy here.
“Even so, sometimes you can’t say no to certain offers. I would only leave if Sporting also agree to this.
“I dream of playing in England.”
