Roma interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper this summer

AS Roma are considering a move for Liverpool loanee Loris Karius this summer, according to Fotomac.

Karius is currently halfway through a two-year loan deal with Turkish side Beskitas, where he endured a difficult start before gradually improving.

And it’s now being reported that Serie A side Roma want to sign the German goalkeeper from Liverpool in a permanent deal.

Manager Paulo Fonseca is keen to replace Robin Olsen at the Rome-based club and sees Karius as a potential candidate.

Fotomac claim Fonseca will make an offer for the Reds goalkeeper this summer, with a departure from Besiktas a possibility.

Karius made 35 appearances for the Turkish side last season and had previously stated his intention to remain there for the next 12 months.
