Two European sides in for exit-bound Liverpool winger

Liverpool are discussing a potential deal with Sporting Lisbon for winger Rafael Camacho, according to the Evening Standard.

Schalke are also reportedly interested in signing the 19-year-old with German outlet Kicker suggesting the Bundesliga side are close to completing a deal.

Camacho has his heart set on a move away from Anfield this summer after Jurgen Klopp was unable to guarantee him regular first-team football.

The Portuguese wideman made his Reds debut at right-back in the FA Cup third round defeat to Wolves earlier this year before making his first Premier League appearance against Crystal Palace in the 4-3 win at Anfield shortly afterwards.

Sporting are eager to bring him back to his home country and have been in discussions with Liverpool for some time for his signature.

Various reports have suggested that Liverpool will use Camacho as a makeweight in a deal for Bruno Fernandes, but the Standard claim the club are not targeting the midfielder.
