Kevin Nolan's combined Arsenal and Liverpool lineup is a joke

Joe Willock

Kevin Nolan’s combined Liverpool and Arsenal team is laughable at best as the Sky Sports’ pundit included Joe Willock and Dani Ceballos over any of the Reds’ midfielders.

In an image posted to Sky Sports’ Instagram, the former West Ham and Bolton midfielder revealed his combined Liverpool and Arsenal lineup ahead of this weekend’s clash between the two sides.

Only four Arsenal players are included, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang understandably chosen as the striker but in midfield, Willock and Ceballos being selected is certainly questionable.

Dani Ceballos was sublime for the Gunners at the weekend, assisting two goals and making an incredible Premier League debut that has supporters of all fanbases paying close attention.

His inclusion is justifiable but there is no way that Joe Willock deserves to be in a combined lineup featuring Liverpool and Arsenal with Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all more deserving.

Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday evening and will be looking to replicate the performance they produced during their last meeting as they thumped the Gunners 5-1 in December.
