Jurgen Klopp had nothing but praise for his attacking line.

Jurgen Klopp’s had one incredible career. And given the history that comes with managing two of the great club’s in football’s history, Dortmund and Liverpool, one would obviously look at the rosters the man has overseen and noted the quality throughout.

Names like Ilkay Gundogan, Marco Reus, Mats Hummels, and Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng are names that football fans across the world are familiar with. And even with slightly smaller names like Nuri Sahin and Mario Goetze, the people who’ve graced the pitch under the tutelage of Klopp would be able to do a job against any side in the history of the game.

When asked about the quality of his current Liverpool side, though, he singled out Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, and Mohamed Salah for particular praise: he called each of his attackers “world class.”

“A lot of times in my life I had sensational players always [but] not world-class players. Now, thank God I have them and they make the difference. We don’t have to talk about that. Sadio Mane, Bobby Firmino, Mo Salah – these guys in the last situation are really outstanding. They were a constant threat, however tired they are. That’s brilliant and, of course, made the difference.”

Now, it’s no shock that the the gaffer would think this way about those players in particular. And most fans would likely note that in this Liverpool squad, there are at least 5 world class players: the aforementioned front three, Virgil Van Dijk, and Alisson Becker.

But noting that this might be the best squad he’s ever had under his watch is quite the statement from Klopp. Not the least of which considering the quality of players who’ve come up under his guidance.

This is all very positive, then. The manager is obviously happy and satisfied with the quality of the players he’s got on hand. And given the way our team spirit is expressed via goal celebrations and various instagram posts, I’d say that the squad is very satisfied with life at Liverpool. Everything’s coming up Red.
