Georginio Wijnaldum's international form is exciting

Georginio Wijnaldum has been absolutely sublime for Holland the last 12 months and it could present Jurgen Klopp with another exciting midfield permutation.
Since joining Liverpool in 2016, Wijnaldum has scored 19 goals for club and country and has beaten some incredible goalkeepers, including Manuel Neuer, Alisson Becker, Thibaut Courtois, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Hugo Lloris.
When he’s playing for the Reds, the Dutchman sacrifices himself to win the ball back and provide a strong base for the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold to bomb forward and win games.
For the Netherlands, however, Ronald Koeman gives him a lot more attacking responsibility and Klopp will certainly be paying close attention to his star midfielder’s stunning international form.

With Naby Keita yet to really prove he can break free from his cursed injury record, Klopp should consider turning to Georginio Wijnaldum and allowing the Dutch midfielder the chance to express himself for Liverpool.
His tie-winning display against Barcelona at Anfield was incredible as he scored two goals from the bench and surged forward in transition, using his agility and strength to spin Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic in the 85th minute to propel Liverpool onto the counter-attack.
He might not be a glamourous attacker but he is proving on the international stage that he has what it takes to be a gem for Liverpool in an attacking midfield role should Klopp decide to use him there.
