Mohamed Salah will be included in FIFPro World XI

Egyptian news outlet Fil Goal has revealed that Mohamed Salah will be named in the FIFPro World XI after being nominated alongside six other Liverpool stars.

Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were all named in the 55-man list last week.

If Fil Goal is to be believed, it’s hugely exciting to hear that Salah will be included in FIFPro’s World XI even if he arguably deserved to be included in 2018 a lot more than he does this year.

The Egyptian enjoyed a stunning 2018/19 campaign, scoring and assisting 37 goals in all competitions, including a goal in the Champions League final in Madrid last season.

Not to mention his stunning goals in the Premier League like the thunderbolt he scored against Chelsea in the Reds’ exhilarating title race with Manchester City.

The Egyptian, signed from AS Roma for £36.9million in 2017, has been one of the best players on the planet for the last two seasons and has been the best attacker in the Premier League since he returned to England after a couple of seasons in Serie A.

He might have deserved to be included in FIFPro’s World XI more in 2018 than he does this year but there is no denying that he is a worthy winner all the same.
