Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville react to Lallana equaliser

Adam Lallana was the unlikely saviour for Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday and former Red Jamie Carragher loved the goal.

Former Manchester right back Gary Neville, on the other hand, did not enjoy the late equaliser as much and was visibly distressed while Carra performed a little dance in the gantry that Liverpool fans will have enjoyed.

Liverpool were completely lacklustre on Sunday but they weren’t helped by the officials as a number of calls went against the away side.

Jurgen Klopp was left frothing with anger on the sideline and gave fourth official Lee Mason an earful all game as referee Martin Atkinson repeatedly made decisions that favoured United.

His side might have dropped two points but they remain six above Manchester City and are still the only side in the Premier League yet to suffer a defeat.

The Reds are on 25 points and have only dropped two points all season while Pep Guardiola’s side has lost twice and drawn once.
