Manchester City midfielder sends title warning to Liverpool
Manchester City midfielder Rodri has warned Liverpool that the title race is far from over.
Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Burnley 4-1 at Turf Moor last night, which reduces Liverpool’s lead in the Premier League to eight points over the Citizens.
However, if the Reds are able to defeat Everton in the Merseyside derby tonight, then the lead will be back to 11 points over Manchester City.

Regardless, Rodri believes his side remain in the title race despite dropping points early in the season.
“We still have every chance to win the title,” said Rodri, as quoted by The Mirror.
“Until the maths says another team has won, we will, give everything, fight until the end. We will see the best version of City now.
“It was a good night for us. It was a needed victory for the team. It was important for us. We’re doing our best, but sometimes you don’t get the results.
“It’s a long way to the end of the season but, as I say, it’s important for us.”
