Cesc Fabregas names Liverpool forward as the best player in the Premier League

Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas believes Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is the best player in the Premier League.

Mane has scored 11 goals and made six assists in 19 Premier League games for Liverpool this season.

His form has been pivotal in regards to the 13-point lead Liverpool currently possess at the top of the Premier League table. The Reds also have a game in hand.

As of right now, Fabregas believes the Senegal international is the best player in the Premier League, which he stated on social media.

It is difficult to disagree with Fabregas. The player that runs Mane the closest in regards to the best in England would have to be Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.

The difference, however, is that Liverpool are top of the Premier League. One could argue Mane has been more influential in regards to that being the case.

There are some sensational players playing in England’s top division, and for Mane to be mentioned as the best highlights just how good he actually is.
