The 23-year old is now a Euro winner with Italy.

23-year old Fiorentina Italian winger Federico Chiesa joined Fiorentina in 2016. In October 2020, he was signed onto a two-year loan deal at Juventus. He went on to put in impressive performances with Juventus, scoring 14 goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances in his first season. He also won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana with the Italian giant.

In 2021, he joined Roberto Mancini’s Italian national side in winning the Euro 2020 tournament, and got featured in the Team of the Tournament as well.

According to Gazzetta, Liverpool has allegedly made a €100 million offer for Chiesa. But Juventus have rejected the offer, saying that the player is not for sale. Football Italia reports that Chelsea also put in a €100 million offer for him after the Euro 2020 tournament, and Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich has expressed an interest as well.

For Juventus, the priority is to build a project that includes Chiesa, and also control costs. Chiesa is also said to be a favourite of Cristiano Ronaldo, and others at Juventus.

For Liverpool, this will mean continuing to look elsewhere to bolster attacking options.
