The German club are said to be unwilling to consider a sale for anything less—and would prefer not to sell, period.

Liverpool’s midfield core are getting older, and with that there’s a widespread belief that next summer the club will need to make at least one big signing in order to avoid falling off in the coming seasons.

As to who they might sign, there have been countless names linked but one that many believe is at the very top of the wish list: Borussia Dortmund’s star 18-year-old England international Jude Bellingham.

And according to reports out of Germany this week, Dortmund have already set the minimum price it would take for them to even consider selling: €120M, or just about £100M in Liverpool’s local currency.

Even at that point, though, they’d rather not sell, and they’re said to be looking to sign Bellingham’s younger brother, 16-year-old Jobe Bellingham who like Jude has progressed through Birmingham’s academy.

The younger Bellingham is himself very highly regarded, but signing him might just help to encourage the older Bellingham to stick around and resist interest from clubs like Liverpool to bring him back to England.

So far this season for Dortmund, Jude Bellingham has made 14 appearances, scoring three goals and six assists for Die Schwarzgelben, who currently sit a point back of Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table.
