The Reds will face Sevilla at Anfield in August

Arne Slot’s Liverpool will face Lla Liga side Sevilla on August 11th in the new manager’s first game in Anfield — albeit in a pre-season friendly — teh club has confirmed today.

This fixture will take place six days before the season opener against newly promoted Ipswich Town in the early kick-off on Saturday, August 17th, to open the 2024/25 Premier League season.

This final pre-season match will conclude the club’s pre-season tour, which will take place in the United States for the first time since 2019. The Reds will face Real Betis first before games against Arsenal and Manchester United in late July and early August.
