Liverpool Release Trailer for Klopp Docuseries: Doubters to Believers
The club’s four-part documenting of the Jürgen Klopp era is set to release on Amazon on February 28th.
During the 2023-24 season, not too long after Liverpool fans learned that Jürgen Klopp had decided he needed to take a break and to move on at the end of the season after nine years in charge of Liverpool Football Club, the club announced that his final months in charge at the club would be filmed.
Just what final shape any retrospective or documentary that came out of that filming would take wasn’t clear at the time—or even maybe in the months after. For a time, with Liverpool in the mix in four competitions, it seemed likely to be a record of that final hurrah. At least up until the moment three of those four potential trophies slipped away.
Following Klopp’s departure, the club settled on expanding the focus, making it into a Klopp-era retrospective. Much of the behind the scenes footage would necessarily have to come from the final months, but the heart of the docuseries would be Klopp and Liverpool’s journey from 2015 to 2024.
Today, we get our first look at Doubters to Believers, with a trailer for the four-part series that will air on Amazon in the United Kingdom and select other territories with the release date set for February 28th, just a little over a month from now. We’ll certainly be looking forward to getting to see all of it when it drops.
