Injury Let-Up for Liverpool FC Women Ahead of Return to Action

Players are slowly returning to fitness for the Reds
As Liverpool FC Women prepare for their first WSL match post-Matt Beard, interim manager Amber Whiteley was able to provide positive fitness news for a change.
Jas Matthews returned to full training over the international break and will be available this weekend, and while Niamh Fahey is back in training it is unclear if she’ll be fully fit in time for the Reds’ Sunday afternoon kick off against Crystal Palace.
Hannah Silcock is recovering well, though taking a bit longer than anticipated, and Leanne Kiernan also remains unavailable this weekend.
Liverpool sit in seventh place after 14 matches have been played, and will hope that the manager change leads to more consistency in results.
