Jack Wilshere speculation continues

Speculation that suggests Liverpool could make a move for Jack Wilshere is rumbling on today.

The 26-year-old Arsenal midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer, was linked with the Reds over the weekend and further reports today continue to back up suggestions that Kop boss Jürgen Klopp is interested in him.

Having already tempted Wilshere’s former Arsenal teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to make the switch to Anfield, a number of mainstream media hacks seem to think that could help persuade Wilshere to follow him.

It is mooted that Wilshere is on £90,000-a-week at Arsenal and that the Gunners have offered him a new deal with less attractive terms due to his injury record. Those digits wouldn’t be a problem for Liverpool but there’s nobody of any credibility, just yet, confirming that we’re sniffing around him.

The latest reports are speculative but the fact Wilshere could be available on a free means he could be given some serious consideration.
