Liverpool agree Dominic Solanke fee with Chelsea
Liverpool have finally agreed an undisclosed fee with Chelsea for Dominic Solanke 12 months on since he made the move to Anfield, according to The Liverpool Echo.
Solanke joined Liverpool last season after his contract expired at Stamford Bridge, but due to the fact he was under 24, Chelsea were entitled to compensation.
Talks were held last season, but no conclusion could be reached regarding a fee, which therefore meant it looked as if the fee would be decided by the Professional Football Compensation Committee.

That wasn’t required though as further talks between the two clubs have taken place and the issue has now been resolved. No one knows exactly what the final figure was, but Chelsea were wanting around £10million. Liverpool at the beginning valued Solanke at £3million.
“The issue has been resolved between the clubs. We will have no further comment on the matter,” a Liverpool spokesman told the ECHO.
Solanke left Chelsea in search for more opportunity at Anfield. Despite Liverpool being blessed with forwards of the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, he still managed six starts and a further 21 substitute appearances.
He got his first goal for the club against Brighton on the final day of the Premier League season.
