Barcelona interested in Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet

Barcelona are interested in signing Reds goalkeeper Simon Mignolet before the end of August.

The 30-year-old is surplus to requirements this summer after Liverpool made Alisson their number one and Loris Karius seems certain to remain at the club as Jurgen Klopp’s second-choice.

According to Sky Sports, Bekitias made contact with Liverpool over the availability of the Belgium international last week but the Turkish club are yet to follow it up with a firm approach.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is the current first-choice for Barcelona but the German understudy Jasper Cillessen is expected to be moved on.
