Jurgen Klopp is set to be without some key names going into the first game of the Premier League season.

Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Simon Mignolet all participated in the World Cup semi-finals, which therefore means the three will almost get three weeks off.

Dejan Lovren will also receive the same amount of time off as well as he played in the World Cup final representing Croatia.

They will all resume training seven days before the Premier League opener at home to West Ham United on August 12.

“They are back as well on August 5, I think, then we have a proper week to prepare the season,” said Klopp, as quoted by The Liverpool Echo.

That will most likely mean the four individuals won’t feature against West Ham due to lack of time on the training track with the team.
