Andy Robertson set for pay rise at Liverpool

Liverpool are preparing to offer Scottish left-back Andy Robertson a pay rise after his impressive performances since signing for the club, according to The Mirror.

Robertson has been somewhat of a surprise to the Anfield faithful. The relatively unknown quantity signed from Hull City for a fee of £10million before the beginning of last season, and it is proving to be one of Jurgen Klopp’s best bits of business thus far.

Robertson did recently sign a new deal 13 months ago, which still has three years to run, but the club are preparing to offer him a pay rise of almost double his current wage.

This new deal with see the left-back pocket an extra £60,000 a week, which no doubt has been earned through his performances at the club.
