Brazilian Legend Tips Salah to Shine in La Liga

Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho, speaking in his position as a pundit in Egypt for Pyramid TV, shared some thoughts on the King of Egypt himself, Mohamed Salah. Ronaldinho first offers his opinion that Salah could win the Premier League Golden Boot for the second season in a row, despite some stiff competition.

“Mohamed Salah is brilliant and has the opportunity to become the top scorer of the Premier League for a second consecutive season,” he said. “He will have a hard time competing for the Golden Boot due to the presence of outstanding players such as Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane.”

Less entertaining for a Liverpool fan was his suggestion that Salah would love playing in La Liga.

“Salah has the ability to play in any club and any league. The Spanish league will be very suitable for a great player like Mohamed Salah, and for him, it will be like a paradise.”

When people talk about La Liga in relation to players of Salah’s ability, what they really mean is Barcelona or Real Madrid. Indeed, rumors have already spread about interest in Liverpool’s star man from the two Spanish giants. And why wouldn’t there be interest? He’s a star. Liverpool stifled talk of a move early this summer when they got Salah to sign a new, generous contract with the club.

World class players will always be linked with the best and most annoying teams, but Mohamed Salah is now, and for the foreseeable future, a Liverpool player. So Ronaldinho, thanks for your opinion, I guess. But we’re good.
