Tonight represents one last chance to impress boss Jürgen Klopp, and earn a starting spot for Sunday’s season opener. There will likely be quite a few changes to the line-up that started in the impressive 5-0 win over Serie A runners-up Napoli last time out. But it will be a chance for new signing Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Alisson Becker to show off in front of the Anfield faithful.

A few players—Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Dejan Lovren—should be in line for their first minutes of action this preseason. Better to lose that rust now than midseason! Hopefully the Reds can end an already positive offseason on a high, going into Sunday’s match against West Ham absolutely buzzing!
