Jurgen Klopp pleased with Xherdan Shaqiri’s start at Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp has been pleased with the impact made so far by new boy Xherdan Shaqiri, with the German manager confident there is “even more” still to come.
Shaqiri scored Liverpool’s second of the afternoon against Fulham on Sunday, volleying home an Andy Robertson cross to cap off another accomplished performance.
And his manager has taken note of the No.23’s continued strong start to his Anfield career.

When asked if Shaqiri has been living up to his expectations so far, Klopp replied: “Yeah, or even more. What can I say?”
“He’s just a fantastic boy on top, that’s really good, and he knows that he has so much potential still to improve.
“But of course he’s the guy for decisive moments, that’s how it is, and we have to make sure that it stays like this. Another really good performance and a fantastic goal on top, so it’s really cool.”
Shaqiri will hope to get more starts in a Liverpool shirt when club football resumes after the international break.
