Ryan Kent progressing well from hamstring injury insists Gerrard

Ryan Kent is only a couple of weeks away from a return to action according to Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.

The 21-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in a training session ahead of the Glasgow sides trip to Moscow in the Europa League.

The Rangers boss said: “He is probably now a couple of weeks away, hopefully, if everything keeps moving the way it has been because he is doing really well. He is out on the pitch doing some jogging so he progressing really well.”

The Gers has 11 games coming up in the next month and Gerrard said the Liverpool loanee has been in rehab during the international break.
